Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 pkg. Dry Yeast
  • ¼ cup Water (Warm)
  • ¾ cup Milk (Scalded)
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • Nuts (Optional)
  • Raisins (Optional)

Icing

  • 2 cups Icing Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Milk (Enough to medium consistency)

Instructions
 

  • Soften Yeast in warm water.
  • Combine the Milk, Butter, Sugar, and Salt.
  • Cool to lukewarm.
  • Add 1 cup of the Flour; Beat well.
  • Beat in the Yeast mixture and the Egg.
  • Add the remaining Flour and mix well.
  • Place in a greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
  • Punch down and roll out Dough.
  • Spread with soft Butter.
  • Sprinkle Brown Sugar and Cinnamon over Butter.
  • Add Nuts or Raisins if desired.
  • Roll up and cut in 1 or 2 inches.
  • Place Rolls into a greased pan and let rise until doubled.
  • Bake at 350℉ until brown for 25-30 minutes.
  • Spread with frosting while still hot.
